From 11am Free Tea & Coffee served in front of the church​

Speakers Corner

11:15am The Pigs Head Pub

Local business owner, Jack Ross, will tell us what it takes to run a carbon neutral pub.

11:30am  London Beekeepers Association (in church)

Richard Glassborow will tell us about the London Bee Situation and about plans to turn the current honey bee apiary in the Eden Nature Garden into a more biodiverse one. 

12 noon Solar Panels

Local expert Mark Ashworth will talk about the benefits of installing solar panels on your home.

12:15pm Swift Conservation (in church)

Ed Mayer will discuss the importance of providing habitats for these amazing migrating birds. 

​

12:30pm Community TechAid 

E-waste made good: Hear from Cat Smith, Community TechAid's CEO, about how their circular economy helps to tackle digital exclusion and electrical waste in south London, and how you can get involved.

​

1pm Bring & Share Lunch

Please bring a vegetarian lunch of any kind to share. Free water and homemade drinks will be available while supplies last. We encourage you to bring your own water bottle. 

​

1:30pm Zumba with The Baked Bean Charity

This group promotes education and social inclusion for adults & children with special educational needs and disabilities. After the performance there will be a chance to join in!

2pm Sustainable Interiors

​Rosey Treherne Pollock will advise us on how we can make decorating changes in our home without it costing the earth.

​

2:30pm Buglife

Get London buzzing: Scarlett Weston will explain how people can create and maintain habitat for pollinating insects in their gardens or local greenspaces. 

Workshops

11:15am - 12:45pm Creative Art

Led by Lily Corbett Gale, painting Birds & Flowers of Paradise, working with egg tempera on gessoed paper.

11:30am - 12:30pm Mend & Repair Clothing

Learn how to fix your beloved items with our experts.

11:30am - 1pm Build a Bamboo Bee Hotel (in the lower churchyard)

12noon - 1pm Design for Disassembly

Architects from the Re-Fabricate Collective, Rosie & Kate, will teach us about sustainable building through this hands-on workshop.

​

12noon - 12:30pm Learn to Compost

Join Philippa & Charlotte in the Eden Nature Garden -

there will be a talk and Q&A session followed by some physical digging.  If you can, please bring cardboard, newspapers and vegetable peelings/kitchen compost to the session.
