Are you an organised person with a knack for clear communication? We're looking for a warm and efficient Volunteer PCC Secretary to join our team!
The PCC Secretary plays a crucial role in ensuring our Parochial Church Council (PCC) meetings run smoothly and that decisions are accurately recorded and communicated. It's a fantastic way to gain insight into the church's operations
What the role involves:

Working with the Vicar and PCC Chair to prepare agendas for PCC meetings

Attending meetings (ca 5 per year) and accurately recording the discussions and decisions made.

Circulating agendas, minutes, and other relevant documents to PCC members in a timely manner.

Handling general PCC-related correspondence.

Maintaining orderly records of PCC minutes, policies, and other important documents.

Assisting with the organisation and minutes of the annual parish meeting.

Who we're looking for:

Someone with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

A strong communicator (both written and verbal).

Proficient with basic computer skills (e.g., word processing, email).

Reliable and able to maintain confidentiality.

Friendly and able to work well with a diverse group of people.
No prior secretarial experience is required; training and guidance will be provided.
