Cycle Stands at St Paul's

A sub-committee of the Eco Church Action Group has been discussing getting bicycle stands for the churchyard. At the moment cyclists chain their bikes to the railings near the vicarage or bring them inside the church. We would like to encourage cycling and offer a safe place to leave bicycles.

Should we have parking for bicycles at St Paul's?

Where should they be placed? Pros / Cons

At the front gate - Close to entrance / Little space due to planting

Near the Compost Heaps - Tucked Away / People could track mud into church.

Next to the community centre - Good access from path / Not immediately visible

Behind the church - Unseen from front / Security risk for owners, far from church and hall
